Dr. Jameson got her B.A. from UC Santa Barbara and her Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. She performed her postdoctoral work in the laboratory of Wendy Havran, Ph.D. at The Scripps Research Institute where she studied the role of gamma delta T cells in wound repair. In 2005, Dr. Jameson started her own laboratory at The Scripps Research Institute studying how skin-resident T cells are impacted by obesity and type 2 diabetes. This research program has been expanded to include autoimmunity and continued at CSUSM with a large cohort of undergraduate and graduate students working on a variety of projects.
